EC Venue was founded in 2010 by Brisbane creative- Leah Clark, who had a vision for a versatile, creative space that could serve as a hub for artists and community events. With this goal in mind, she set out to transform an empty building into a stunning events venue that could accommodate a wide range of events. After years of hard work and dedication, EC Venue has established itself as a premier destination for events and creative developments. Today, EC Venue is known for its unique and flexible events spaces and studios that can be transformed to suit any occasion. Whether you're planning a corporate function, wedding, or creative workshop, our team are here to help bring your vision to life.

We continue to embrace our roots as a creative space, regularly hosting dance and theatre companies in our spaces on a weekly basis. This commitment to the arts has allowed us to maintain a vibrant and dynamic community of creatives who call EC Venue home.

Our recently renovated Foyer Bar exudes a captivating urban atmosphere with two stunning art murals by world-renowned artist, Fintan Magee. If you're planning a special event, you can reserve an exclusive space or tables in our public bar, or for private small events our “Pop-up Space” is available for hire, accommodating up to 20-30 guests - perfect for corporate meetings, hens parties, and workshops. For larger events, our entire Foyer Bar can accommodate up to 80 guests. The space is located on the ground floor and includes private bathrooms and a fully stocked cocktail bar, making it an ideal location for any celebration. Access to the bar is via stairs from street level.
